Today I finished my landscape assignment for my photography class, bonded with one of my co-workers (I'm lacking friends at the moment, so this was nice), and I ate way too many Krystal burgers.
I'd say today was a success.

Today's Playlist 7/25/11
This past weekend was CRAZY!! Between photo shoots on the side of the street, cutting down trees in Kentucky, and a trip to the Emergency room I am so tuckered out. Here's a rejuvenating playlist to help revitalize ourselves for the long week ahead.
1. "Chicago is So Two Years Ago" by Fall Out Boy
2. "Big Girls Don't Cry" (Personal) by Fergie
3. "Memphis Lives in Me" by Bon Jovi feat. David Brown
4. "Come Follow Me" by Aaron Carter
5. "In My Pocket" by Mandy Moore
6. "I'm All About You" by Aaron Carter
7. "Movin' On" by Good Charlotte
8. "The Best Damn Thing" by Avril Lavigne
9. "Digital Get Down" by *NSYNC
10. "Blue Christmas" by Ednita Nazario
11. "Dead On Arrival" by Fall Out Boy
12. "All Your Reasons" by Matchbox 20
13. "Heaven Can Wait" by We The Kings
14. "Her Diamonds" by Rob Thomas
15. "One Week" by The Barenaked Ladies (One of my top favorite songs EVER)
16. "She Don't Want the World" by 3 Doors Down
17. "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers
18. "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne
19. "The Scene is Dead; Long Live The Scene" by CobraStarship
20. "1,000 Words" by Savage Garden
I am quite pleased with this random assortment of songs brought to us compliments of my iPod, which prefers to be called Griffin (Don't ask me why, it's a very touchy device, but how I love it so!) This list it has produced for us seems to measure very well both the craziness of the passed weekend and the dawn of the new week. I hope that none of you spend any time in the emergency room, though, for that wasn't very pleasant.
Stay Beautiful,
Blair

Today's Playlist 7/14/11
Well, I'm at work reading my Social Psychology textbook. It's absolutely amazing how people act! For instance, a judge removed a 9 year old little girl from the care of her mother when he found out what the girl's name was: "Talulah Does the Hula" was the girl's name. The book doesn't say that this happened in America, but it's still very interesting just thinking about the fact that it DID happen!
Ponder over that while listening to this:
1. "Stop and Stare" by One Republic
2. "Stop the Bleeding" Unknown artist--I found it on the album "To Write Love on Her Arms"
3. "Take it Off" by Ke$ha
4. "Teach Me How to Dougie" by California Swag District
5. "Teenage Dream" by Katy Perry
6. "Telephone" by Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce
7. "That's Not My Name" by The Ting Tings
8. "This is Halloween" by Panic! At the Disco
9. "Tik Tok" by Ke$ha
10. "Time Will Fade" also on the "To Write Love On Her Arms" album
11. "Tonight Tonight" by Hot Chelle Rae
12. "We R Who We R" by Ke$ha
13. "What's This?" by Fall Out Boy
14. "When It Rains" by Paramore on the "To Write Love on Her Arms" album
15. "Whip My Hair" by Willow Smith
16. "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift
17. "Your Love Is My Drug" by Ke$ha
18. "3" by Britney Spears
19. "143" by Bobby Brackins feat. Ray J.
20. "Saturday" (The Music Video) by Fall Out Boy

Today's Playlist 7/12/11
My head feels like there is a little green man inside pounding away at my cranium with a jackhammer. Nonetheless, just because music--or any noise, for that mater--isn't especially pleasing to me today, doesn't mean I should bottle it all up and force everyone in the world to press "STOP" on their iPods, CD players, Cassettes, MTVs, or whatever else moves them. So here is the headache-induced playlist I've scrounged up today:
1. "Firework" by Katy Perry
2. "Gimme More" by Britney Spears feat. T.I.
3. "Honkytonk Badonkadonk" by Trace Adkins
4. "How Low" by Ludacris & Shawnna
5. "I Do Not Hook Up" by Kelly Clarkson
6. "I Like It" by Enrique Iglesias feat. Pitbull
7. "If I Had You" by Adam Lambert
8. "If You Seek Amy" by Britney Spears
9. "In My Head" by Jason Derulo
10. "Just The Way You Are" by Bruno Mars
11. "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl" by Good Charlotte (LOVE THIS SONG)
12. "King of Anything" by Sara Bareilles
13. "Kissin' U" by Miranda Cosgrove
14. "Like A G6" by Far East Movement
15. "Like It's Her Birthday" by Good Charlotte
16. "Love Like Woe" by The Ready Set
17. "Love The Way You Lie" by Eminem feat. Rihanna (The video to this song ROCKS!)
18. "Lullabye" by Fall out Boy
19. "The Man Who Can't Be Moved" by The Script (How sweet is this song???)
20. "Mine" by Taylor Swift
There. Enjoy what my pounding head will not allow me to enjoy. Please, allow me to live vicariously through you.

Today's Playlist 7/11/11
Well, I just attended my first Basic Photography course. It was AWESOME. Today has been pretty good, minus the absense of my dearly missed Mother (Who is currently back home with Daddy and will return to me Saturday). And I am taking a break until 4pm, when I will head to the University Library to work as a writing tutor as usual. But for now I'm busying myself with my current reading list and trying desperately to make my apartment spotless for when Mom returns--dirty houses make her feel bad, and mine has been dirty for a LONG time. Well, ever since move-in day back in January. Anyway, to set the mood of summer snapshots and summer cleaning, here's today's jam-session:
1. "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix Alot

But anyway, I have an education class to attend.

Today's Playlist 6/16/11
Because I love creating lists of any kind, and I think the one thing this blog needs is more lists, I have decided to list 20 songs each day that can serve as the playlist of the day. Something to listen to while you take a walk, or feed a screaming baby, or drive to work, or if you are a singer--something you can sing along to. Or not. Anyway, here's today's 20 songs. I put my iPod on shuffle and list the 20 first songs that come up. So there's absolutely no order to it, but when I put it in list form it looks neat and organized so it has the optical illusion of being strategically placed. Here goes.
1. "By Myself" by Linkin Park
2. "Undone--The Sweater Song" by Weezer
3. "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! At the Disco
4. "Come Clean" by Hilary Duff
5. "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage" by Panic! At the Disco
6. "Neon" by John Mayer
7. "Tomorrow" by Avril Lavigne
8. "Tiffany Blews" by Fall Out Boy (My favorite band EVER!)
9. "All I Want" by Staind
10. "Go All the Way (Into the Twilight)" by Perry Farrell
11. "Wannabe" by The Spice Girls (The only song of theirs worth listening to)
12. "Whisper" by Evanescence
13. "Home" by Daughtry
14. "One Last Kiss" by Britney Spears
15. "The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes" by Fall Out Boy (Did I mention I loved them?)
16 "Take U There" by Sean Kingston (This is mine and my Moms car jam)
17. "Maybe (New Version)" by Secondhand Serenade
18. "Dance, Dance (Live From the Hammersmith Palais, London)" by Fall Out Boy (Yes, I have every version of every song of theirs ever released.)
19. "Writing It Down" by Uncle Kracker
20. "God Only Knows" by Orianthi
So there is today's list, compiled from the 1,716 songs on my iPod. I really hope you jam out and groove down to my tunes. I love them, I hope you do too.
I also hope you appreciate the mixed-upness of my iPod. From Fall Out Boy to Uncle Kracker to Secondhand Serenade to Evanescence to Britney Spears.
