Because I love creating lists of any kind, and I think the one thing this blog needs is more lists, I have decided to list 20 songs each day that can serve as the playlist of the day. Something to listen to while you take a walk, or feed a screaming baby, or drive to work, or if you are a singer--something you can sing along to. Or not. Anyway, here's today's 20 songs. I put my iPod on shuffle and list the 20 first songs that come up. So there's absolutely no order to it, but when I put it in list form it looks neat and organized so it has the optical illusion of being strategically placed. Here goes.
1. "By Myself" by Linkin Park
2. "Undone--The Sweater Song" by Weezer
3. "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" by Panic! At the Disco
4. "Come Clean" by Hilary Duff
5. "The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide is Press Coverage" by Panic! At the Disco
6. "Neon" by John Mayer
7. "Tomorrow" by Avril Lavigne
8. "Tiffany Blews" by Fall Out Boy (My favorite band EVER!)
9. "All I Want" by Staind
10. "Go All the Way (Into the Twilight)" by Perry Farrell
11. "Wannabe" by The Spice Girls (The only song of theirs worth listening to)
12. "Whisper" by Evanescence
13. "Home" by Daughtry
14. "One Last Kiss" by Britney Spears
15. "The Patron Saint of Liars and Fakes" by Fall Out Boy (Did I mention I loved them?)
16 "Take U There" by Sean Kingston (This is mine and my Moms car jam)
17. "Maybe (New Version)" by Secondhand Serenade
18. "Dance, Dance (Live From the Hammersmith Palais, London)" by Fall Out Boy (Yes, I have every version of every song of theirs ever released.)
19. "Writing It Down" by Uncle Kracker
20. "God Only Knows" by Orianthi
So there is today's list, compiled from the 1,716 songs on my iPod. I really hope you jam out and groove down to my tunes. I love them, I hope you do too.
I also hope you appreciate the mixed-upness of my iPod. From Fall Out Boy to Uncle Kracker to Secondhand Serenade to Evanescence to Britney Spears.
